HELP!!!!
I am trying to learn Corel x3, with very little luck. I typically do all of my work in AutoCad 2002LT. A customer has sent me there company logo that they would like for me to use.
I have exported the .eps(file that was given to me by customer) as a DXF. It exports and opens fine in Auotcad, but when you move the cursor over the drawing it locks Autocad up. I've changed the version of DXF and it still locks up Autocad.
Do you think it's the LT version of Autocad causing the problem or am I exporting wrong?
Maybe if I weld the CPU to the shop roof it will see things my way......

try saving a DWG file from corel, it seems like DWG worked better than DXF last time I tried that
x3 (and x4 I think) have limited dxf support, only outputs dxf with splines

I've saved in DWG and it does the same thing. Will the splines cause AutoCad to lock up?

no, autocad invented dxf and splines, that's always forward compatible
I can export either dxf or dwg from corel x3 to v2000 (with splines) and open either in autocad 2000 without problems
if you can post the file(s) someone may be able to determine whether it locks up autocad (lite) globally or just on your computer, and or make a new dxf for you to try
