I've just used Rustoleum Crystal Clear from spray cans and it seems to work just fine so far.

A product I have used over 1SHOT sign enamel & many other coatings is FROGJUICE. It is manufactured by Superfrog enterprises in Moorehead Min. It is a quick dry, crystal clear finish & comes in a rattle can or quart can. It now also comes in many colors.www.far-from-normal.com. Kirk Anton is the contact & tell him Bob sent you.

Re: Protective coating help
I haven't tried 'frogjuice' (sounds interesting), but after trying 25+ Clears on my steel artwork, this is by FAR myMichman wrote:I have been doing a lot more copper patina finishing lately, and have been trying a lot of different protective coatings...but not crazy about them. Can someone give me some ideas of what I can use? On a few I have done...after a few days I can see this white haze or scale start to appear around the edges ..under the coating.
favorite.

p.s. I get a 'full-cure' in less than 10 minutes using an IR lamp.

Re: Protective coating help
With any decent quality spray gun. I use IWATA, but other brands should work well, too.Groth wrote:How is the Deltron applied?
You will need a 1.3mm or 1.4mm fluid nozzle, air nozzle & needle. The one I sell on my
website comes equipped with all & ready to use.
