Faking an OK TO MOVE signal

Post by kicktillmonday »

Does anyone know how you can fake an OK TO MOVE signal if you wanted the machine to function normally without a plasma cutter on it? Hoping Tom from C&CNC reads this, I am confident he would know.

What are you trying to do. If it is just a dry run just check Disable torch and run it. Or are you adding another attachment like a Pen tool or easy scriber. More information would help as in what is your final goal.

Thanks guys. Adding an easyscriber and it sits still waiting for an OK to move signal. It is running Mach 3 on a rudimentary DIY build with no THC. A buddy helped set up Mach for me because it was over my head. I figured the best way was to just fake the signal somehow.

Its setup wrong. With no THC there is no need for a OK to move Typically the Ok to Move in MACH is via the THC ON named input in the Ports and Pins /Input signals . On some THC ,they handle that input and send send a Hold signal to MACH but you dont have a THC to send anything. Perhaps someone with the Easyscriber can outline how its setup to work without firing the torch or using an input for arc ok.
