Well you all convinced me that it was safe so I went and did it. That seller also has the EB-4816B for sale at 2599 with only 199 shipping (Kaka wanted 400 to ship) so I pulled the trigger. The 4816B has a different base than the 4816M, that you can store the bending bars in which is kind of nice. Excited to finally get it!!

Seller on eBay use different ways to generate a sale, lower price but a shipping with a cost, or free shipping with shipping built into the price. Not saying it is wrong just ways to trigger a buyer. I have bought many things and sold many things on ebay and still do. I bought an 2 old cars for over 10K some time back for an individuals. One thing for sure it pays to shop around, it your money. :HaHa :HaHa

Pretty cool. Interested to hear what you think of it once you get it up and running.

Voltage Range:
To ensure proper performance and prevent damage, the power supplied should be within a range of 220VAC +/- 5%, which translates to 209VAC to 231VAC

My line voltage is around 240 Vac, so I had to install a bucking transformer to get the supply voltage down to within the specified range.

This is the transformer I am using.

My line voltage is 246 VAC so it looks like I'll need a bucking transformer also. That same one you have should work fine right?
