Badges
Been quite a while since I've posted on the forum, but still doing metal work nonetheless. Some recent badges I made for a customer. Mix of cnc plasma, scribe, laser engraving, steel dye, clear coat, vinyl and epoxy.

Re: Badges
Thank you! Lots of trial and error and figuring stuff out over the years! As with a lot finished projects, there are usually some "how do I fix this" moments along the way!Joe Jones wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 7:46 pmWow! You are where I want to be! Re: Badges
Very nicely done! There was a member a short while ago wanting to make a USMS (United States Marshal Service) badge very similar to the one you made. I think I suggested that he might consider engraving/scribing the center portion very much like you have done.
Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Re: Badges
Thank you! It's a pneumatic scribe that came with the table. It's a marine grade epoxy that I picked up from a local wood working shop. When I get back to the shop I'll check the brand.acourtjester wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2025 3:43 pm very nice the epoxy give them a excellent finish, and make them POP.![]()
