Hello group i am kevin
i bought my first DHC in 2006 using a hypertherm1000.
for the last 12 years i have been busy doing other art forms.
and the dust only let me use the table once or twice a year.
sept 2024
i bought a 12'x12' old hickory shed and dedicated it to my DHC. made a downdraft table the whole works.
but i knew i needed to upgrade to to designedge and to a DHC2.
i just did i bought a used one.
i had a pro cut 55 Lincoln that i only used for hand held cutting.
Question / Help
does anyone have any cut settings for the lincoln pro cut 55 being used on a plasma cam DHC or DHC2 table.
please i could use the help. thank you in advance.

Welcome Kevin. Glad to hear your getting back into it. I have no experience with a procut 55 and being a hand held machine there may be no cut charts available. Not too difficult to develope you own settings by cutting some 24" long straight line test cuts starting with a slower speed and ramping it up until you find the limit then back it off a little. Best of luck and let us know how it cuts.

Welcome to the forum and what an awesome place you live in. We use to go through J-Hole and float the mighty Snake River going to and from the bigger rivers further north. Is the Bondurant BBQ still a summer event?

Kevin - the Design Edge Video Manual has a section on connecting the Lincoln Pro Cut 55 to the controller using the Plasmacam torch control cable. I have not seen any information on mechanized cut charts for that particular plasma cutter. I happen to use the Hypertherm PM80 and 45xp plasma cutters with my DHC2 table and rotary cutter, and the Owner's Manuals have cut charts with all the various settings for different materials and different consumables.

What Design Edge software upgrades so you have - if any? The most useful are Advanced Design, Advanced Machine Control, and Advanced Height Control.

You might check the Langmuir site as I have seen posts there about some of the members using the Lincoln Pro Cut plasma cutters. Perhaps join that group and post your question about the mechanized settings there.
