Post by waverous »

I have a cad file with a .prt extension - is there a way to convert this to autocad as either .dxf or .dwg
Thanks

.prt is a solid works file as far as i know. The easiest way is via Solidworks.
I've PM'd you my email address, if you want to send the file to me I'll see if I can pull the profile off it for you and/or save as DXF/DWG if the part suits.

Edit: seem to not have PM's enabled......

Still can't do it. Everyone else has a PM button under their Avatar Or in their profile. Yours doesn't have this.

To enable Private messages:

Click user control panel -> Board Preferences tab -> select yes next to "Allow users to send you private messages"
Then make sure to click submit at the bottom of the page.
