Hello new guy here from Indiana

Post by MillersSteel »

Hello I own a Torchmate 4800 table with a Hypertherm Powermax 85 Plasma. I do anything from artistic signs to custom parts also recently added a 20 ton shop press with a Swag Off Road metal brake. I am looking to start using 3D software to design parts anybody know of a Free or relatively cheap 3D software for beginners that's simple for beginners to use?

I use 123DDesign to convert DXF files to STL for 3-D printing, very basic but free. May be a way for you get started, there are some tutorials on using it. There also are free version of Fusion 360 it is much more involved but is another path.
