Tracing a cross
Using inkscape i cant get a good trace on this picture. Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Im not sure how to attach a picture to this post. I ended up using a diffrent picture but followed your instructions and it turned out great

An hour of love! I always prefer to draw, rather than trace, whenever possible. You get more detail.

And for this type of "artwork", I think an auto trace can give results on par with a manual trace. It all depends on the particular image you have on hand to auto trace, and your techniques to clean it up to "cut ready" form.
