Sign mounting standoff method

I've been using these every once in a while for mounting signs and I thought maybe some people here might not know about them. I've been calling them "standoff posts", but I think they are more easily found if you call them "standoff screws" and they are another way to mount letters or signs to vertical surfaces like walls, posts, etc...
You unscrew the front part of them, then attach the standoff to the wall with your choice of screws, then drill a hole in your sign that lines up with the standoff and screw in the front part. They come in different lengths and work pretty well. I like the short ones but if your signs are light enough, the longer ones work well also. Found on Amazon.
