Hi, my shop version of inkscape is very limited to what fonts it has, mainly stencil fonts with bridges to stop parts falling through when cut. However id like to add more fonts if possible. How do i do this please?
Thanks.

Re: Adding new fonts
If you have the font you want to install (typically a .ttf file) you can copy & paste them or drag and drop them in to the Windows fonts folder and the font will be available to you through many of your installed applications. Below is an image of the Windows > Font folder on my PC. Let me know if you have trouble navigating there

Or once you have unzipped them into a new folder, just double click to install. Once they are installed to Windows fonts, they will appear in the Inkscape fonts list when you use the Inkscape text tool. As weldguy indicated, there are many sources for free fonts. DaFont is one of the more popular sources.

Re: Adding new fonts
Just a note on this. The last two fonts I downloaded from DaFont did not work. I dug deeper and found that the author of the font required payment. Which were about 50.00. Just an FYI.
