Post by rick_b »

I am new to Hypertherm's Pronest LT and phoenix software, has anyone ever set up a line test using it?

Rick - exactly what do you mean by "line test"?
Thanks,

David,

10 or 15 straight lines all set at different speeds and amps to see what works the best.

I assume that the software/hardware you are using has the capability to do this automatically? For most of us, we would have to manually change the settings and current level between each test line.

My last 3 machines I have been able to do this, but with this new machine which has all Hypertherm setup I don't seem to be able to do it. Funny it's more hi-tech but I can do less with it.

Perhaps contact the manufacturer tech support to see what has changed from the previous versions.
