Plasma Cutting Post processor for Fusion 360
Me again. What post processor should I use with F360? When I select a Linux one it says its not for plasma cutting.

Re: Post processor
I use Sheetcam with F360. There is a F360 post on the linuxcnc forum somewhere.
My workflow is to
flatten the part (if sheetmetal)
Select the flattened part annd create a new sketch. don't do anything in the sketch
Now right click on the sketch in the tree and save as DXF.
OPen in sheetcam and set up the job
Try it with the sheetcam demo with a simple part so the 180 line thrshold is not exceeded.
Sheetcam runs on both Windows and Linux. I do my layouts in windows in my office and save direct to the machine's nc_files folder.
Then a Load Latest custom button in QTplasmac loads it with one mouse click. Check the QTP docs on this

Re: Post processor
I watched a few YouTube videos and it looks good, I spent the next 2 hours trying to download it on linux and have now given in on it. I can't believe it is so hard to get this table to workRodw wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 4:22 pm I use Sheetcam with F360. There is a F360 post on the linuxcnc forum somewhere.

Re: Post processor
It should not be hard to download. Maybe your internet is a bit flakey. You could use windows and take it to linux via a thumb drive.wiltshire_chris wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 4:33 pm I watched a few YouTube videos and it looks good, I spent the next 2 hours trying to download it on linux and have now given in on it. What about allow this file to run as program?
I had to install a file browser just to show you this.
It might look a bit different on your system
