really simple question I know but in outline mode, can someone show me the method they would use to draw a teardrop shape or petal shape please. I am unsure how to correctly use the bezier curve or arc tools to do this.

Here is how I would do it, draw a circle make it a path. Then using the node tool grab the top node and pull it up to shape the teardrop or petal. And you can also use the node handles to reshape the sides if you want.

I like Tom's method. You could also do it using the Bezier draw tool. It works the same in either outline view or normal view.
