I received a PM asking for help doing an Inkscape manual trace of the Christmas Tree shown in the photos.

Here is the screen shot of the "draw from scratch" sequence. The same process would be followed for the other half of the tree with the addition of the star on top.

That great David. I always had a problem with the bezier tool. Something with ending the line when I click the enter key I always move the mouse a little and my line moves.

I would just buy the files on etsy, they are cheap as is and optimized for plasma cutting.

Here is an image of some free Christmas tree images offered for download. These are symmetrical and would probably be better to practice on with your manual tracing.
