Looks great, prices seem very reasonable. Do you offer a complete motion package with motors and drives? From what I see it looks like we supply our own drives.

Here are some turn key packages from their website. I don't know if these use the acorn or one of their other boards. And it says nothing about plasma.
I expect it will be much more cost effective to supply your own motors, drives, etc.

Thanks David, I did see those complete servo based systems but the cost was very high and appears to be more for machining equipment rather than plasma. It looks like they don't have complete setups for plasma but say that it works with most drives and motors. I have a new build in mind and will be seriously considering this.

Hello. thanks for the comments. The Acorn CNC controller is sold as a kit, we designed the hardware and software to be very user friendly for installation and configuration for the DIY market.
There are CNC control system builders that provide turn key electrical enclosures and entire plasma machine tools if you don't want to build the CNC controller yourself.

The Acorn CNC controller can run a wide variety of step and direction axis motors and drives from high dollar yaskawa units to entry level open loop steppers. I made a longer video that explains more of how the Acorn Plasma CNC system works.
