Solid Edge 2D opening/editing dxfs

Using solid edge 2d drafting 2022. Does anyone know how to open a dxf in 2d model mode so it can be edited? Even parts I make in solid edge and save as dxfs I can't open back up into 2d model. Any help is appreciated

SE 2D is different than the full version.

In 2D click on browse, then locate your DXF you want to edit, then select DRAFT.

I didn't realize that there was a separate 2D version. I wondered about that since the full version does not have a tab for 2D. Thanks for the clarification.

David... full version has the draft icon, thats the 2D part. When you click on draft, i change my view from Working to 2D Model.

With solid edge 2d is there a way to convert 3d assembly parts into their own dxf sketches for cutting. For instance I can open some 3d things I download from grabcad into solid edge but it seems to only be a viewer.
