CorelDRAW X5 & or Plasma Cam Design Edge

If I have the design edge software do I still need the Coreldraw? I need to Scan Phots and then import and cut out?

In a word....No.
You can scan and save your images as bitmaps, then import into Design Edge and use the live trace function.

I might have shortchanged you on the last reply.
In Design Edge you can also import TIFF & JPEG images, as well as bitmap.
