Commandcnc dthc

Post by mcmental »

I’ve connected my hypertherm up to the mp3700 but it doesn’t seem to be seeing that it is there, I tried the test volts but nothing showed up in the software as described, I have the jumper on back of pwm11a set to 50:1 hypertherm

Do you have the RS485 4 port hub connected?

There are a multitude of indicators and test buttons to troubleshoot the DTHC
The DTHC5 is an updated DTHCIV so the manual for the DTHC IV including the Initial Cut test covers 95% of the setup and testing. To expand on that you need to get the DTHC 5 Troubleshooting guide (Support/manuals on the Website) and also the NEW PWMIIA manual that covers the Testing (volts test button) on that module and how to do it.

Although the MP3700 is the "front end" logic and DTHC and only goes up to the motor driver interface (MTA250 card) all of the seup and testing are covered in the full controller manuals in the same section. Phone support is avaialble for setup although we cannot help much with the power and motor driver section not provided.

Also take the time to join our online Support Forum and gets monitored evenings and weekends.
