Looking for help, deciding on upgrading my Hypertherm 45 to a TD A60i.
Looking for pros and cons on moving from Hypertherm. Use it on CNC table cutting mostly 14ga to 3/8", I am really interested in the marking aspect as well. Any advice or opinions on that?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Looking to switch to A60i
Have you considered the Hypertherm 45xp? This is a great machine with Duramax Torch which will take the FineCut consumables, and is very capable of "marking". It is capable of cutting 5/8" thick steel, and maybe a little bit thicker. I own and use both the 45xp and 85 and they are both great machines.

Replied to your post in the general forum with this...
I have not used any of these air plasma's for marking but I have plenty of experience with both HT and TD and I would go HT for sure. TD's have always proven to be finicky and just don;t seem as robust and reliable. An affordable alternative for marking with the PM65 would be the EasyScriber which would give you the better plasma cutter with marking capability. The 45XP is another solid option as David mentioned.
