Looking for assistance with reducing nodes

Post by Hartofsteel »

Hello,
I have been struggling to reduce the number of nodes on this dandelion image. I have tried inkscape and coral draw with no luck. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I imported into inkscape, ungrouped, selected all in node editor mode, press ctrl and L or Path then simplify then combined.
See if this works for you.

I have to try this "simplify". I usually just go around deleting nodes on nodes and other nodes that don't change the shape. Thanks for the tip.
