Import your image to Inkscape, then "Path, Trace Bitmap", then Save (not export) as dxf (AutoCAD DXF R14). You can import this dxf file directly into Design Edge. Another option is to do a screen shot of your Inkscape image, open with Paint.net and save as bitmap or jpeg. Then import to Design Edge. I personally find it faster to do my auto tracing with Inkscape, save as dxf, and open the dxf with Design Edge. I have also found that under certain circumstances, Inkscape does a better job of auto tracing than Design Edge does.
