What plasma table do you recommend?

Post by CleanCutCreations »

I'm looking to upgrade to a 4x8 from a 4x4. I currently have a premier plasma table, but was wondering what other companies y'all recommend.

Or what brands to avoid.

Thank you,
Garrett

I like my StarLab table. It has CandCNC controls which are very good.

I am sure others will chime in. If you are skilled build one and use CandCNC controls. When doing this and something goes wrong it really helps because you know how everything was put together. If I were to do it again I would build, not buy.

+1, consider building one yourself.... you have a working table so cutting plates the right shape should be a doddle to make another larger one.

worth contacting acourtjester to see if he has any plans that may be able to suit your needs..... if you don't use them at least you considered / were aware of them

do the research so you have a clear idea and plan to follow, with price lists. There are a few builts talked about here and the selection of the electronics has a few different paths in addition to CandCNC. easy to ask question to those that have use different setups, there are very helpful members here. Also the costs can be quite different too.
