Ink Scape updated please help

My inkscape updated and it does not look like it has for years. I need to cut this for a wedding this weekend for a friend. Could some help convert this to a dxf. I have a png, and jpeg.

You're welcome. I used Inkscape 1.0 and it worked great. Import image, trace (Path, Trace Bitmap), and save as dxf R14.

ha, ha, ha i know exactly how you feel, i didn't have my computer hooked up to the internet (it's a long way from my modem) and have just hooked it up and now my computer is going crazy with up dates, and yes one of them was inkscape!

I have all automatic updates turned off on my office computer, and my other shop computers for running plasma table, etc. are not connected to internet.
