Cutmaster 38

Have a chance to purchase a used cutmaster 38... any input and this machine and a fair market price... I'm looking for more of a hobby machine and don't see myself exceeding 1/4 to 3/8 inch at this time, although it would be nice to attached it cnc in the future. Long team plan would be to build my own plasma CNC.

I would do a little more research and see if you can find a newer larger unit. Something that you can easily turn into a CNC controled unit down the road. The first thing you will find is you didnt go large enough. Always we build what we think will work and we end up finding something we need it to be larger for. Also look at tech support, I myself have the Cutmaster 51 it is a 4 yr old unit, if I new then what I know now I would have purchased a hypertherm from the get go.
