Ran across this in a search for a future project. Anyone using any of their products? From what I could gather TECO is Taiwanese but these are made in Texas. I know nothing about the retailer either, just that’s where I ran across these.

Thanks Tom,
Have you purchased from dealers electric? I’ll have to check them out. Wolf does offer free shipping on lighter items. They also had a 3HP Westinghouse motor for only 289 but it weighed 100 pds and shipping just kills that. Plus I’m not familiar with those motors at all. Probably need to look around locally in the state to see what I could find. Need to study up some more on the vfd’s as well. I understand the principle behind them well, but have no practical experience with them. What kind of rpm range can you run your motor at? Thanks again!!!

I have not bought from them, they have a great price on a 3 HP 3 PH but it has a larger shaft over 1" if your building from scratch you might look at it. https://dealerselectric.com/item.asp?cI ... &PID=55879
they also have a good deal on surplus package 1.5 HP 220 Volt input VFD, about $55. shipping
