Picking the right cutting table

Post by mkingaz »

Has anyone heard of the STV CNC entry level table?

I've been shopping for a Lower end/starter table and I'm sold on 4x8, Hyperthem xp45 and water table. Now I need to find the best machine within my total budget of $8,000 to $8,500. I've researched Delustional Design, Wright, Premier and a few others but. I know there are some nice tables and great companies in the market but it really is my first plasma cnc table and cost is a major factor.

Thanks,

thanks for the info. Price's are out of my budget but both tables look nice. I must stay in my budget on the purchase.

Thanks again, I'm ready to pull the trigger on a purchase just can't seem to find something in my price range.

Have you thought of building one. More time but saves money. If I was to build one again I would. I have learned so much building my first one. You really know your machine.

Yes. I think you have the record on how many you built.

I'm also new to cnc table and budget is in same range. Also looked at Premier, Delusional, and many others but going with STV. Seems to be best for the money and parts. Only unknown is the myplasma cnc software? It's from Proma and all inclusive with cad cam controller.

I am interested in your experience with the STV table. I am also interested in purchasing a STV table.

I have the stv4800, breakaway torch, and hypertherm 65. So far I have cut 1/16”, 1/8”, and 1/2” steel, no problem. I like the hwin bearings on all axis, it is a well built machine. The software is easy to use, and seems to do everything I have needed thus far. Any specific questions? Support was very responsive when I was building the machine, I haven’t needed them since.

Kipp,
Thanks for your feedback. It's nice to hear from actual owners. It sounds like you have a nice setup.
