torch height changing positions

Post by trucks1948 »

I am running an MP3000,with Mach 3 and sheetcam, and a floating head for many years. I just had to change table locations. Now when I try to cut every time the torch goes down to cut height it stays a little higher. Also i seem to have power at the Z home light when it shouldn't be there. Any ideas would be appreciated .thanks jim

That sucks, all I can say is thoroughly go over all your wiring, try to identify cables with a loose strain relief or something that could have been tugged on during the move, etc. Good luck

did you clean your ground after moving things, have you tried lowering your cut voltage and see if that fixes it? or
Also make sure none of your communication wires are crossing over the ground cable or the cut cable
