Post by trucks1948 »

I'm using coreldraw x5.When i use the pic tool and run a box around a drawing to select it ,then click it again so i can rotate it,how can i rotate it to a true vertical or horizontal? When i drag it by the corners it is hard to get it exactly straight.Hope i made this understandable.Jim

Hold control key while dragging rotation, use constrain angle to adjust

Jim,

You can also use the "Angle of Rotation" to specify the desired rotation angle. When you rotate an object, the angle of rotation is displayed in this box. Rather than trying to drag the rotation handles to rotate an object, you can simply click on the Angle of Rotation field and type in the desired angle. In this example, you could change the 10.0 to 0.0

Hope this helps,
Clark
