Why the ghost lines ? Importing to sheetcam
This is annoying aa hell . I have saved and exported in corel the following dxf, svg, cmg . I have boxed out all around the main object to see if any tiny debis shows up . Nothing but a clean object shows . Object was joined curves , grouped , saved and exported to sheetcam . When in sheetcam all theses horizonial straight lines show up . Ive had this before , but damned if Ive ever figured out what causes it .

Try selecting just your object and paste it into a new layer then export from that layer. It would rule out something being on your current drawing.

If you can post some simple file where the problem exists then you stand a better chance of someone figuring out what is going on.
Lots of members now seem to either post only a description of the problem or a jpeg image.
I realise you won't want to give your designs away so can you do a "Save As" for your file and then delete the fancy arty bits. Then export and check the ghost lines are still showing up again. If so attach the file here.
I use Coreldraw and the only time I've had such problems are when the file came from somewhere else. It's amazing how much junk can be in some files. Whenever I create the file in Coreldraw myself it usually exports OK.

The horizontal lines do not show up on the CorelDRAW work space . When viewing then same file in Inkscape they are clearly visible .

Here you go Beefy , The horizontal line at he top left does not show up in the workspace in Corel - not even stretching a box around it to show up the trash around the main object . When viewed in Inkscape the horizontal line . clearly shows up .

Re: Why the ghost lines ? Importing to sheetcam
Hi Sampson,
I don't use Inkscape but what I did notice in Coreldraw is there's several other layers, one of which has a horizontal line in but the layer is set to invisible.
I deleted all those layers and this is the resulting file. Is it any better ?

Thanks , but I need to know how to find this ? I've been using Corel 10 yrs and never took much time learning or understanding layers .I guess objet properties is where you start ? I f you could give a step by step on how to do this I would be grateful . Thanks
