Torch not finishing cut
The torch is not finishing the cut before moving to the next cut? Why is it doing this? I am a new plasma cam user.

Re: Torch not finishing cut
Have a close look at what's going on. Chances are that the torch is finishing the cut OK and that the problem exists at the beginning of the cut. If you don't have enough "pierce delay" time set than than torch can begin moving prior to piercing the material completely and this will result in an incomplete cut. Just make sure that you see sparks spraying out from under your plate before your PlasmaCam starts to move the torch. Too long of a delay is not ideal, but would be better than too little.

Re: Torch not finishing cut
In your Machine/settings window under Machine control, you will see a setting called "Continue cutting after stop" It's right after the "Time spent piercing hole" setting.
Mine is set to zero.
Default is .05 seconds. Too high a setting will cause a 'divot' or mark to show where the cut began and ended.
A - .05 setting for instance will insure you never have a tip up, as all the pieces will hang on by a little tab, and have to be tapped out manually.
