I am not certain but it looks like your torch is too far from the top of your material. Looks like its barely cutting through and when it does you have a nasty angular edge. Turn off the THC, start from the very edge of the plate so you don't have to pierce it and find a cutting height that works. Now turn on the THC and set your THC so it will maintain the cutting height you have found to work. Next set an appropriate piercing height and you should be able to have better success cutting that part.

If I understand your question correctly the answer is to use the material you intend to cut when testing to determine what height, cut speed and other settings work best.

It is obvious from your picture that the nozzle is far beyond usable condition and the shield is also damaged and should be replaced. I expect your electrode which is not pictured is also destroyed. Replace all your consumables and start over again.

Good luck.

Acier trompé, vous le coupez comme de l'acier ordinaire.

Je vous suggère de traduire vos questions en anglais; vous risquez de perdre des réponses. Google Translate fonctionne beaucoup mieux maintenant qu'avant.

translate..
Thanks for the answer Francisco.
I improved a little cut but the problem is the moment to trigger the THC torch goes up and down it gives a zigzag cut (photos).
the second problem is the drilling either a hole on the cut surface or a pipe

Your probably fighting more than 1 problem here.

Cut the part with the THC off and get your settings dialed in so you are happy with the results.

Once that is complete turn the THC on and get it dialed in.
