Hello All,
I'm a total newbie when it comes to plasma tables, and the software associated with them. I have a laser engraver/cutter that I use RD Works to design and run my projects, as well as a CNC router table, which I use V Carve Pro to design with, and Pic Sender to run the file. I've had a Hypertherm Powermax 30 for a few years now, but just recently purchased a Langmuir Crossfire plasma table. I would like to use Sheetcam for my CAM prograam, as I believe I can create a design in V Carve and import it into Sheetcam as a DFX file. What has me confused is that on the "Sheetcam tutorial 1 Basics" video on YouTube he states that the videos are based on working with the Sheetcam that is on the tables computer, and if you want to use it on a separate computer I will need ti install it correctly, and there are lots of settings that need to be set correctly. My table didn't come with its own computer, and I use this laptop for my cnc router, as well as my laser. If anyone on here that has a Crossfire could tell me how they installed their Sheetcam I would be most grateful. I thank you in advance, and look forward to reading and contributing to the board. BTW, how do I pay the 20.00 for full access?
Kimothy

In Langmuir 's forum you will find answers to all your questions. Install the full version of Mach 3 on your laptop and it will talk to the tables processor.
Langmuir's tutorials work fine for installing it.
Ask any questions(Sheetcam, Mach 3, Fusion) of the members there and you will get straight/ plain answers from guys that have done it.
Check the forum map for other Crossfire users in your area, one guy came here and helped me get the thing up and running in no time.
Good luck man. Your in for a bunch of fun.

I don't think you need to load SheetCam onto the Langmire computer as long as you have a way to transfer the G-code to it. That is what many here do, the only thing you will need to be sure of is the Post processor for the Langmire is loaded info SheetCam. You just download SheetCam and then load your license. The wizard will have you setup your table size and your measurement type (inch, MM).
I know there are people with Langmire table on here so they may chim in.
