Hi All
I am pretty new to Plasma cutting but have almost ten years experience in CNC and have built several wood routers and done multiple metal lathe and mill conversions etc
So it seemed like a no brainer to build a Plasma table and in fact, it was on the whole pretty easy. No real load on the head etc. The table I built was built on a low budget but it is 3mtrs by 1.5mtrs, it does not use commercial linear rail but uses skateboard wheels on 40x40mm tube and i must say it is virtually faultless.
In the past, I have built my electronics from scratch but got lazy this time and built this one using the MYPlasma CNC software and hardware (https://www.proma-elektronika.com). That has gone well, the software included is not exactly brilliant but the hardware (BOB & THC) is solid and well separated.
Anyway, the results have been impressive.
Hope I can contribute to the forum and learn a lot.
All the Best
Dave
