What software do you guys like that would be simple and cheap for my 4x8 Plasmacam. Has anyone used the Plasmacam version? Plasmacam software is 1900. Mostly need for square to round and transitions. Thanks to all.

Re: Duct work software.
Morning Crossfab,
I personally like plate and sheet software, it have a huge inventory of different shapes and is so user freindly that a 2 year old can use it. Also is converts from metric to imperial with no issues whatsoever. Allso has a great ilttle feature to import your layout as a 3D model into your drawing to verify it will fit before you cut your part. It does everything except cutting and forming . Our business is 95% duct work and stacks and this software never let us down. We came accross a shape once that it could not do and we contacted them, they did the layout for us and emailled us a patch so if ever we had to do it again we had the shape in the library, all this for free, I never seen other softwares do this before.
Here is there website, plateandsheet.com the price is also very affordable for what it offers you. You can also download the trial version to see if it suits your needs. if time and precision is your business this is the software to get.
Hope this helps you out.

Since I use AutoCAD all the time,I went ahead and purchased the full LITIO2.0 plug-in for CAD[http://www.litio3d.com.ar/]. it is a simple to use add on. All you do is enter the sizes and parameters and it "flattens" the sheet-metal for the chute/duct you trying to achieve. They do have a DEMO but it does limit you to what shapes you can do in it . best 80$dollars ever spent for our company. It took whole 5 seconds to convince my boss on how much money we would save with it.
