That looks interesting. How would you do that in Corel draw? I'm thinking it will add to much to my job time though? There are so many pieces to do and every one is different.

To do this in Corel DRAW you start with drawing a series of parallel lines with your desired spacing between them. Using the Duplicate command and Align & Distribute will make this fast and easy. Once you have them aligned be sure to Group them. You can save these lines as a template that can be used in the future whenever you want to use this technique on another project.

Next create your text or design you wish to apply this technique to. In this example we will use text. Once you have your text on screen be sure set it to a Hairline Outline with No Fill.

Now select the group of lines, click on the Trim button and then click on your text.

The result is what you see below and your ready to scribe.
