Hi guys
I’m new to plasma cutting so just after some tips to improve cut quality. I’ve tried a number of things already, speed/cut height/lead ins etc.
I can’t seem to get square edging when it comes to lettering, always get rounded rough looking cuts.
I’m running a Hypertherm Powermax 65 with a fine tip.
The image below is 2mm mild steel measuring 200x50mm.
It’s not as noticeable on larger products which makes me think good cut quality may not be possible with smaller items such as this. Hopefully I’m wrong.
Thank You if anyone can help

If you are using Mach3, play with the CV setting. It will help with the corners.
