Air Dryer Question
Finally got around to trying out the refrigerated air dryer that I bought from Harbor Freight. I thought that the small tube stubbed out the side was so that any moisture pulled out of the air would be able to drain out. Is a fairly steady flow of air supposed to come out of that tube all of the time?

Re: Air Dryer Question
I don't have the Harbor Freight dryer, I have a different brand of refrigerated dryer but would not think that a steady flow of air should escaping. Mine has a small hose also and I think there is a solenoid on a timer and every once in a while it will open and air/moisture will escape the hose for a second or two.

Re: Air Dryer Question
It has a float in the moisture trap that blows the water out when it gets full. It also drains when the air pressure is relieved. It must have something stuck in it.
