Converting a font into a line instead of block?

Post by Twentysixtimber »

I am trying to cut out a word and the width of the letters is the same as my kerf. I am trying to make the font so that it is one cut instead of cutting the going around the whole letter twice. Is there away to make a font just a line instead of a block letter. I’m sorry I’m advance if I sound confusing. I’m just learning this all on my own..

I think you are looking for is called a stick font, or single line font. Check this thread http://www.plasmaspider.com/viewtopic.php?t=15379 and http://www.plasmaspider.com/viewtopic.php?t=10654

I think this may help me. I will try it tonight. I use sheetcam and I’m hoping to just set no offset and be ok. Any other tips would be appreciated. Thank you!!
