Save your money. You won't need a DTHC 5 to do the Auto Set option. Just upgrade CommandCNC. Should be in 0.9.8 , out in a couple of weeks. The next MAJOR upgrade will be a new Direct Ethernet BoB (EBOB) and the DTHC 5 that snaps down on the top of the EBOB. That system will open up some more Real Time Inputs and Outputs . Following errors are not typically from software. Its a latency problem in the Motion Control Module that is typically a hardware (PC) issue. We did several things in 0.9.7 to improve the Linux Kernel interaction with the PC processors.
