Cold reduced (temper pass) HR Plate magnetism issue...

The cold reduced hot rolled plate I get from my steel supplier has magnetism in the plate. I'm guessing this comes from the cold reducing. The magnetism cause the arc to wonder which causes bevel and short consumable life on my PM85 on 14g-1/4" plate. 3/8" and 1/2" on a long cut the arc will actually blow back up and not cut completely through the plate.

I had switch to a different supplier and got standard HR plate and not had issues. Due to convenience I'd like to switch back to the old supplier if I could find a way to get good quality cuts on the cold reduced.

Has anyone else here had to deal with this on cold reduced?
