inkscape to sheetcam measurement issue

Hi there im having an issue with saving a drawing in inkscape say 5x5 inches as dxf and when it shows up in sheetcam its tiny often too small to even cut ive tried in sheetcam changing settings from inches to metric still comes in as less than an inch

When you import it to sheetcam select custom when the pop up asks you the scaling, type in 96. Should say scale 1:(96) this has worked for me to get dimensions to scale up to required size.
