So I am pretty new to all this. I love my metalcast finishes but am limited to colors obviously. I'm about to pull the trigger on steelFX but haven't yet.
In the meantime. I was in a store with the wife and ran across this ultra dye made by folkart. Anyway there are a lot of colors and I have been experimenting with thinning and airbrushing it. its mostly done well, Cant be thinned with water or else the steel eventually rusts under the color, But I have had luck thinning with acetone and a good quality clear coat. Ill try to keep this posted. I currently have many colors sitting in the sun and weather to see how they hold up. Brillant purple, reds, greens, yellows, orange...and all dirt cheap....WE Will see.
