fixture design
I am looking for some fixturing for cutting angles, channels, and tubes, any ideas?

This is something I keep meaning to look into, but haven't yet. I would be very interested in seeing people's fixturing ideas. Also ideas on self-made laminated dies.

I cut a lot of angle iron this is how I do it
I take a sheet of 14g-11g steel to start the fixture
Let's say I am cutting 4in angle cut at 9in 12in and 16in in length
What I do I take the sheet metal and cut 4by16in squares I array them as much as I could fit on the sheet and also I will cut a small hole at the x and y at 0 the square will start at x and y 1in after I cut the sheet I do not move it at all I most of the time put 100 pounds on it to help it not to move at all remember if it move the fixture is trash
Now I will put the angle on the table in the hole I cut and there is your fixture i hope I explain that will for you guys
