Hi all,
I have a very old version of CorelDraw right now (have been waiting to make some money to upgrade), and all of the sudden it won't work with a large number of DXFs. It tells me there is a problem with the files. I can open them in Inkscape (which I haven't really learned yet). I can open SVG's just fine in Corel, but when I download DXF's I just can't get most to open. This problem has just occurred and I have never had an issue in the past with it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks

Re: Corel won't work with DXF
DXF file format changes at the whim of Autodesk and older import filters won't work on newer DXF export filters. You either need to upgrade Corel or something like X6 OR open the DXF with a CAD program and export in an older DXF file rev .
If you can get then into inkscape and save in SVG then you can bring that into Corel.
Other vector formats that are open standard and do not change are easier to work with. EPS, AI, PDF, SVG are a few
