What useful features does X8 offer vs X7?

Curious. I recall reading that a few people have upgraded to X8, and found it worthwhile. I don't, however, remember the benefits they offered!

If you've upgraded to X8, why did you do it, and what new features are useful to you?

Probably not a great deal really, the smooth tool is good but was included in X7 as well.

The knife tool seems to work better than it did in X7.

I upgraded from 6 to 8 and should have saved my $ until at least X9. I generally update every second issue but am not impressed w/ X8 that much and the handling of nodes just pisses me off. But then I am old and senile.

Actually they had to pry X4 out of my clammy fingers to go to 6X. The tools we plasma guys use have not changed a lot since release 12 put in object snap . They have improved SOME Of the import filters and broken a couple others. I don't know if its changed but Inkscape can open CDR files up to X4 format which makes it nice to work in SVG format. I find X6 to be pretty good but I don't like what I see in X7. Not every release is worth the fee.
