That was an interesting concept, moving the torch instead of the work. Just goes to show there's more than one way to accomplish a task.

These guys from Make it Extreme have a pretty good track record of building interesting tools and other projects. I think the fact that this design requires no g-code or software to control things is the main reason for the way it was built.
