Cutting issues
New guy here and I'm wondering if you guys can help. I have a little 2x2 table and use a Hypertherm power Max 45 and now all of a sudden I can't get it to cut right. I'm burning tips like crazy and I'm not getting clean cuts, for that matter cuts at all sometimes. It will be cutting great and then nothing. Almost like it just melts the metal and leaves a lot of Slagle. I'm scratching my head here on what is going on. Here are a few pics to show what I mean.

Re: Cutting issues
Things I would start looking at to find the issue is:
1) Air pressure and contaminated air. Make sure your air is perfectly clean with no oil or water in the lines. Check your air pressure at the plasma and make sure you don't have pressure drop-off and it is steady.
2) Check consumables for wear
3) Make sure ground clamp is solid, clean and attached firmly.
