Finished!!!!!- Making Christmas Gifts

Post by elkriverfab »

OK everybody, Finlay finished with all the Christmas gifts.

I made 10 different clocks for just my wife's side alone.
8 more for my side. 18 clocks............. All different.

Started yesterday and finished this evening. Nothing like a project like that at the last minute! That's how I roll.

Go figure, several years ago I bought a bunch of clock parts. Now I Finlay got to use some of them.

I started stacking scrap last year and was able to use a lot of it for the clocks.
Nothing like cleaning the shop and making gifts from it

Thanks again for all the clock designs everyone posted, it helped a lot.

Just a tip though.......If you have cows like I do, they like clocks too......

I wont say what happened but one of them now has a rust-oleum hammered copper face and one has a textured green face.
Nothing like painting a piece twice in one day.

Not as bad as last year. One broke into my shop, busted open all the 50 lb bags of deer corn for the deer feeders and then proceed to crap and take a leak all over the floor for several hours!

That cow didn't even eat the corn, just busted them all open and crapped on it.

Do you know how hard it is to clean crap off the floor after it has been covered in deer corn and trampled over all day? SWEET!

My wife looked at that and said "HELL NO, you have fun"................. City girls, what can you do.
"OK, Now hold my beer and I'll try it"
