Torch jumps up

In the middle of cutting out a file everything is looking good then all of a sudden the torch just jumps up!!! Any ideas on what can be causing this?

Probably should cut a straight line with the THC off just to get the real voltage.. Then set it to there, and see if the problem goes away...

Not knowing what kind of equipment you have make it a little difficult to guess.
If you have some kind of THC, then it would raise the torch to raise the voltage.
List some more details and then you will get some more eyes to look at it.
